We love stories. Reading, watching, creating, sharing, and listening to stories. So, it made perfect sense that we would create Aural Stories and produce audio stories [fiction podcasts for the true pendants].
We firmly believe when the Great Toni Morrison said, “if there's an audio story that you want to enjoy, but it hasn't been produced yet, then you must produce it” [paraphrased to fit our narrative], she was talking directly to us. And we will not disappoint her.
It also makes perfect sense that we would center it around women, after all, that is what we are, and you are supposed to “write what you know”. Someone said that a long time ago and writing teachers love repeating it to their students.
P.S. You don’t have to be a woman to enjoy our shows, really. We are loved by a diversity of living creatures.
